The first appearance of Sherlock Holmes in 1887 (in A Study in Scarlet) is particularly interesting in historical terms. A great start to the Sherlock Holmes series and the legendary duo that revolutionized crime detection fiction. Also, it is very interesting to know the origins of Watson and Sherlock and how their partnership was formed. This book is highly recommended for those who enjoy Sherlock Holmes detective novels and also for who enjoy the works of Arthur Conan Doyle in general.
